MINOT, N.D.—The University of Jamestown women's hockey team held a 2-1 lead late Saturday afternoon against Minot State, but the Beavers forced the game to overtime where it ended in a 2-2 tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A power play goal by Tori Bear gave Minot State a 1-0 lead at the 7:44 mark of the first.
- Goals by Rylee Gee and Alivia Tilbury in the second period along with 21 saves by Makenzie Gibson helped Jamestown take a 2-1 lead into the second intermission.
- Gee's goal came at 8:19 of the second and was assisted by Jayden Baker and Sam Beaulac. Tilbury's first collegiate tally was set up by Bethany Wielgosh and came with 1:42 left in the period.
- Abby Tallman tied the game for the Beavers with her fourth of the season, at the 15:20 mark of the third, and it sent the game to overtime.
- Neither team could score in the five-minute 3-on-3 overtime and the game ended in a tie.
- Gibson had 43 saves in her first start of the season for UJ.
